Kick'n it with Obama

We made it from the light rail station to our seats in about 1 hour. The crowd control was top notch. Some of the innovative tactics included hand-written signs on colored construction paper with comments such as 'Stay Positive'. The effect was tremendous. Who knows, this may have worked in St. Paul.

Once inside, we heard speeches, and more speeches, and more ... speeches. Don't get it twisted, the experience was uplifting and inspiring. John Legend and Will I Am performed my favorite election-related-rap-over-a-speech song.

Check out the view from section 530! No worries, we yelled 'Yes We Can' right along with them. That's Will and John down there, looking respectable...I think.

Have you ever witnessed such a diverse gathering of people around a subject that does not involve mind candy? Hope. Change. Yes we can. Yep...it was all that plus tax-cuts!

Meet the congressman from Washington and his wife. They decided to bring the party up to the nose bleed section.

Random musings from an Obama supporter.

Stevie, if you are looking for back up with a little Barack and Roll spirit, we got you...

Toni!

This is great that you documented yourself participating in history being made. It looks like you had fun, did Colin also go? Keep posting, I bookmarked this blog. I really miss all of you (included Colin, Joe & Carla, and the rest of NLCF).
